Hi All,
we have issue with users that they are not saving the files/documents immediately after generating.
For example: User generates "Inventory Valuation Report" into excel and just open the file instead of saving file. After some time they will shutdown the system and next day or some days later they will ask us for that report.
Can we save the files to user desktop instead of TEMPORARYPATH(where the files are stored in the temporary path for Dynamics NAV) using NAV 2016.
Please help.
Thanks in advance,
Srinivas.

Maybe it's an option to save it to an UNC path. Then map a drive to this UNC path or create a shortcut to this UNC path from the users desktop. The servicetier cannot just access the users local disk/system without a Save As/Open dialog as far as I know.0
