How to delete the Purchase order while posting a invoice from Purchase invoice screen

Hi All,

While posting the invoice from the purchase order, the purchase order gets deleted when the order is completely invoiced. It's a standard functionality.

But in my case, I have created a purchase order(X) with lines and I received(post-receive) all the quantities. Then I went to Purchase Invoice screen and get the same receipt lines(which posted in the Purchase Order X) and Posted the invoice.

But after posting the invoice, the Purchase order x didn't delete automatically. I want to delete the Purchase order (header and line) same as the normal purchase order posting.

Please help me...

When you create invoices that way it does not automatically delete the order. It works that way in sales as well. There's a batch job that is called "Delete invoiced purchase orders" that will do this task.

Hi,
As Den Ster quoted, PO doesn't delete automatically when you post the invoice.

Instead of manually running the batch job "Delete invoiced purchase orders"", We can use the job queue to automate the process.
