OnUpdate

Is it possible to open the Comment Sheet Form automaticly when I open the Customer Card? You can use a RUN-command but then I'm not able to use the onUpdate feature. How do I solve this problem?

What do you mean with onupdate? Do you mean changing the customer and the comment sheet updates?
How about making a subform with the comment lines?0 -
Yes I mean that changing the customer.
I can't use a subform because it should be possible to mark wether you want the comments to show up on the settings.0 -
If the comment is on a menubutton with a shortcut you can use Windows Script Host Object Model
WinScript is an Automation Control 'Windows Script Host Object Model'.WshShellif isclear(winscript) then create(WinScript); WinScript.SendKeys('{F3}');
This executes the comment via the menubutton so the OnUpdate thingy works.0 -
Another option is to use functions to update the form, but that is more complex.0

I try the one with the shortcut key. Sounds like the way to go.0
