The Item Variant does not exist

swordiusswordius Member Posts: 2
Hi All

I have a headache about planning worksheet;

AA is produced item has variants. There is a variant "VV"
BB is a raw material has no variants. It exists on AA's BOM without variant (both, AA and BB)

There is a sales line item: "AA" variant: "VV" Qty: 1

When I run "Calculate Regenerative Plan.." it calculates MRP and MPS with an error:

"The Item Variant does not exist. Identification fields and values: Item No.='BB', Code='XX' "

So it doesn't make sense. Produced item on sales line "AA" has variant "VV" ok; but raw material? Why raw material should have variant?

Any feedback will be appericiated. Thanks in advance

    Actually for the component the variant that program asks produced item's. So the error is like that: "The Item Variant does not exist. Identification fields and values: Item No.='BB', Code='VV' " By the way, I am using Nav 2016. Thanks
