odata webservice Service Reference authentication issue

Dear all,

I try to add my odata webservice via a service reference to my visual studio project. Everytime I try to do this I get several authentication dialogs and after entering the (correct) credentials each time I get an error.

I'm able to connect and see the webservice via postmann (I use a external users with an web service access key for that) and other tools like internet explorer.

The webservice is running on a vm hosted in azure, so I'm not in the same AD.

Anyone has a suggestion what to do?
