UK - HMRC - MTD Making Tax Digital

Hi,
we have to submit our UK VAT returns via MTD to HMRC.
Is there a good way to do this via MS Dynamics 2009 R2? Is there a possiblity doing this out of the box or is an addon required?
Do we need an external software?

    As far as I know NAV 2009 R2 is out of support , so there will be no MTD for NAV 2009 version.
    You could take the MTD objects from NAV 2015 and try to convert them for NAV 2009 but I am not sure how far you can get with this.

    The best options would be to upgrade to e.g. NAV 2015

    Yes 2009 is out of support an I read that MTD is supported since version 2015.
    An update within the deadline of hmrc is not realisitc.
    I would like to try a downgrade of the objects. Could you tell me where the function is placed?

    It is not just one object or function it is a whole set.
    This is a set of objects that I used for NAV 2017
    Most of the objects you can just import or they will be in the GB localisation.
