Vatable Item

Hello. Can I filter the VAT Prod. Posting Group of an item to VAT Posting Setup to know if that item is vatable? Or is there any way to know if an item is vatable? Thank you.

You can filter the "VAT Posting Setup" on the "VAT Prod. Posting Group" with the Item."VAT Prod. Posting Group" to get an indication of the potential combinations of:

VAT Bus. Posting Group/"VAT Prod. Posting Group"

an item has.
Because, a document will have the vat of the combination of the customer and items depending on the "VAT Posting Setup".

Let's say Item 01 has VAT Prod. Posting Group of A-01, and I used it to filter in the VAT Posting Setup. What if A-01 has plenty of combinations? What combination I have to choose, since Item has no VAT Bus. Posting Group.

It depends on the customer/vendor that is chosen on the document (sales order, invoice e.t.c).
Because some customers might have other vat bus. posting group due to special circumstances.

i.e. In my country, customers that are very far from the capital, have less VAT% than others.
