Upgrade from NAV 2016IN to NAV 2016LS

in NAV Three Tier
my customer wants to upgrade nav 2016IN version to Navision LS 2016 with the Data. Can anyone suggest the steps please??

    What do you mean IN and LS?
    Is it change of localization on customer's database? As i see, NAV version is not changed.

    IN is country code for India, but LS is country code for Lesotho,no localization for that country. Maybe he means LS Retail which is quite popular in India judging by the number of questions here.

    Sorry for the vagueness in question. My client is having NAV IN version and the upgrade is for same localization but to LS retail version.

    as i understand the current NAV version do not have LS Retail and with new version upgrade they want LS retail as well. if so you need to preapre a base database first with latest 2016 build with LS Retail and then proceed with upgrade steps.

    So, you just need to add LS addon to database.
    It is not NAV upgrade. Just merge objects and make initial setup for LS addon.
