Is it possible in NAV 2017 to print to a specific printer from the web client?
I would like it to use the value in the printer selection in NAV.
Now it just makes a pdf file, so the user have to click more times to print the output.

I've been wondering about this myself. I cannot think of any application running in a web client
printing directly to printers that have been setup per report as we are used to in RTC or classic NAV.

Probably just a Java shortcoming, or security no-go area.
"When it comes to web pages on the internet there is absolutely no way that you can set up a Javascript command to send directly to the default printer. If your visitors wish to do that they will have to set up their own "fast print" button on their browser toolbar."
I do not know what a "fast print button" is, but maybe that is a way to go.
Scheduling reports through the NAV job scheduler is the way to do it the 'classic' way.
The service tier can print the way we are used to (only on premise I guess).
