how to setup outlook sync with nav 2009 and database login?

  I don't think you can. As far as I remember Outlook sync uses the currently logged user security context to authenticate session to the Exchange server.
  
  The database login is a product-specific connection authorisation method, used by SQL Server (od old classic NAV database server) but not by Exchange
