Generic Chart Period Problem - Dynamics NAV 2017

I have set up a company for the accounting period from 04/01/2017..03/31/2018. But when I set period "Year" in generic charts, Data is prepared for the calendar year (01/01/2017..12/31/2017). I have setup the starting date and ending date to the Financial year in chart selection page. But still the chart gets prepared for a calendar year.
Any solution for this problem?
