"Item Ledger Entry type" in value entry table

"Item Ledger Entry type" in value entry. I was under the impression that this field would always be the same as the "entry type" in Item Ledger Entry. But this not the case when a purchase item charge is applied to transfer receipts.
This looks like a bug. Do you agree or disagree?

Posting an item charge does not create an item ledger entry. It just applies to an item ledger entry and this does not any affect on the item ledger entry type. The "Document Type" field on the value entry table gives us the necessary information about the lines so what i believe is yes it seems like a bug if i'm not missing something entirely.5
