Reservation Entries for Purchase and MRP

in NAV/Navision Classic Client
When we run MRP (planning worksheet) for purchasing, we are getting reservation entries created with reservation status "Reservation". All our items are set to Never Reserve on the item card. They are getting reserved for production order components. Is there a way we can stop these reservations for purchase when we run the planning worksheet ?

we are using Job quees to run MRP and it creates reservation entry for purchase item every time we run the job ques for MRP. we do not want Purchase reservation entry when we run MRP. all parameters related to item are set to none. Is there a solution that we can prevent this reservation entry for purchase. is there are code unit changes or hot fix?

need help immediately.

    Reservations are created when “Reordering Policy” is set to Order - I suspect this may be the case with you. This is not a bug, just the way it works.

    Reordering policy for some item is set Lot-for-Lot and some are are Fix reorder point. Are this parameters creating Reservation entry ?

    Do we need to set Reordering policy to 'Blank' if we do not need any reservation entry ?

    Other parameters are
    Reserve= Never
    Order Tracking Policy= None.

    They are getting reserved for production order components
    ...Production Order Components also get reserved against Production Order Lines
