Why can't I rename item no??

Hello.

Why can't I rename the Item No. from 1000 to 1000x?

If I change the number to 10001 its okay,
but if I use string character (1000s), then its gives me error.


I have debugged but didn't help.

I use navision: 2017

    Do you have any modifications to your database? It seems as if the Item Number, somewhere in your database has another datatype than the Item Table.
    I just renamed the same item in my Nav2017 Cronus Danmark A/S - without problems.

    Hi,
    May be some changes in your database is blocking you to rename "Item No.". Please cross check for any changes in Database.

    It could be because the "SQL Data Type" property of the "No." field on the "Item" table is set to Integer or BigInteger

    I tried to rename it, and it suddenly worked. :)
