NAV 2017 Send Email to Gmail Instead of Outlook

Hi, has anyone come across a requirement to integrate NAV 2017 with Gmail instead of Outlook? By default the functionality of NAV will send and attach the pdf file into Outlook. Client was hoping to send to Gmail instead.

Hoping for any advise.

    Actually it uses its own simple mailclient, with the option to send to Outlook.
    The internal mailclient uses SMTP, so that should work with gmail.

    But sending the mail out of NAV into gmail, i dont think is possible, as there are no local client to integrate with.
