Unknown Bill to Customer

Hello,
During a training, a user has created a customer. The next day, we found out that the bill to customer of all the existing customers changed to the customer created. We really don't know what triggered the change. Even on the Sales and Receivables Setup, the field Parts inquiry default Cust No. got updated.
Thanks to advise, we've been trying to found out how the fields got updated since last week.
Regards
Bhavna

Somehow a blank Customer record had been created (one with a blank "No." field) at some point. What the user then did was actually RENAME that blank Customer (just over-typed the blank value) instead of creating a New one so the system then updated all blank Customer No.s with the new value6

its difficult to suggest without knowing your code base.
you can take back up and follow the same steps user has executed by activating code coverage which will give you all code hit during that process.0 -
