I'm writing a report and I have to count how many records with the same description are contained in the table of origin because I want to filter the records with a description that is repeated more than once, and ignore those record with a description that is unique. How can I do it?

You could use a query to select the unique descriptions as described in the design pattern SELECT DISTINCT with Queries. Then loop the result and select only the first line from the source table with the given description.
Alternatively you create a buffer, e.g. using the Name/Value Buffer table as temporary, and then while looping your records, you check if the description is in your buffer. If it is, you skip the record and if not you add the description to the buffer.0
