How to assign order no in Item ledger entry while posting sales order

Dear all,
I have observed when i post my sale order on the item ledger entry page the field of order no remain empty. I want that field populated with the sales order no, so that i can back track that sale order?

Is there any way to get the sale order no from item ledger entry?

Please tell me how can i do that?

Hi,

Sales Order No. is not captured in order no. field of Item Ledger Entry table.
(You can refer : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh172204(v=nav.70).aspx and https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh175883(v=nav.70).aspx)

You can retrieve Sales Shipment No. from Document No. field of Item Ledger and back trace your sales order no.

Otherwise you have to customize standard code to include Sales Order No. in Item Legder
