Inconsistencies in the G/L entry table

Hello,
After getting an error message about G/L entry inconsistencies when running the 'Close Income Statement' process for a fiscal year I looked around for a solution and found this post:
http://forum.mibuso.com/discussion/22748/how-to-see-why-you-are-getting-consistency-error
I followed the steps outlined and was left with a list of G/L entries that were ready to be posted right before the process errors out. My issue though is the sum of both the Amount column and the Addtional-Currency Amount Column both equate to 0. I was hoping I was going to be left with some small amount that would point out a rounding error. This does not seem to be the case however. Any ideas on how to proceed/what to try?
Some additional info that might be relavant:
I only see 2 decimals on the amount column and the addtional current amount column. This lead me to change the rounding property on the form for these values to 5:5 and rerun the process but I still only see values with 2 decimals.
I am using NAV 2009 R2. The version of the 'Close Income Statement' report is (NAVW16.00.01,NAVAP6.00).
