Is NAV License works both with Native and SQL Version?

in NAV/Navision Classic Client
Dear all,

One of my client is using native version of navision and he is using a 8 user license. Now he want to upgrade it to sql server option in navision . My question whether the same native navision license works well after the customer upgrade to sql.

    Depends if granule "2010 Server - Microsoft SQL Server Option" is in the license.

    Depends if sql server is in the license then you can.
