How to copy a newly created item record to another company

Hi guys
I want to create a new record in the item table. This newly created item record should be also copied to few selected companies.
How to achieve this. Suggestions plz.

CHANGECOMPANY just like in Intercompany module.

To change a company using code do

RecVar.CHANGECOMPANY('Company Name');
RecVar.INIT;
RecVar.SomeField := Something;
RecVar.INIT;

where RecVar is the Variable of type record.
