Hello,
I try to compile NAV2016 reports, all reports give the same error:
Error while validating RDL content.
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=Neutral, PublicKeyToken=xxxxxxxxxx or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find specified.(.....\Microsoft Dynamics Nav Designer\21020\yyyyyyyyyyy\ReportCompile\web.config line 11)
(xxx and yyyy some hex codes)
I am using windows 10 machine with SQLServer2016
I have executed msi package : .... .DVD\Prerequisite Components\Microsoft Report Viewer 2015\ReportViewer.msi
thanks in advance

Issue resolved!
I have
(after removing reporting components from SQLServer2016)
- uninstalled report builder
- reboot
- repair SQLServer2016 installation
- download reportview from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=45496
- installed reportviewer
- reboot
Now the correct version of reportviewer appears is the GAC:
c:\windows\

Try compiling on a PC which has Report Builder 3.0 installed (comes with SQL Server 2012 & 2014).1

Thanks for your comments. I have uninstalled the reportview in the NAV2016 package and installed the Report Builder 3.0 that I have downloaded from https://www.microsoft.com/nl-nl/download/confirmation.aspx?id=42301
This has not effect. The Error remains.saravanans87 wrote: »cross verify whether any other version of report viewer is giving you the conflicts.
How can I do this cross verify?
