Sending & Schedule the XML file via EMail

Hello,
Is it possible in NAV 2016 to generate the data in XML format and schedule it to send over via Email.

Here are my two cents -

1. You can create a XMLport of type Export which will generate the Xmlfile for you.
2. Then a codeunit to run that xmlport which save the file to a particular path.
3. After that, you can generate Email and attach the file from the path and send it as an attachment.

Is that any above point need more clarity?

You have to customize the application for your requirement. You can check about Schedule a Report functionality in NAV2016 and use it.

Hello SowKarthika, I understand but can't i just use Job queue to send the XML data via Email. I am not very familiar with Job queues.

Help of Job Queue and using the Report Inbox , you can schedule the report in PDF,Excel,Word type and the Email can be easily configured in SMTP Setup. For XML type it's not inbuilt so you need to customize on that particular part.
