Dear all,
I am facing an issue while using merge tool. The issue is that when i try to merge it it shows too much conflicts. When i see the conflicts most of the conflicts is due to MLCaption property
- The original one in MLCaption property is ENU , however in client customized version is DK, NOR etc . so it show me the conflict on almost every field of every tables. Is there anyway i can fix it one time and it works for all the conflicts of such type? because i don't care, about MLcaption property so it can help me in reducing my work load.
Looking forward to hear from you guys.

Yes, there is a way to fix this..
You use the language functionality in Development client to delete captions you do not want.
Here an exampel how to delete captions for two objects
1. Open NAV 2009 Clasic client or NAV 2013 and later Development environment
2. connect to the database and open Object Designer
3. Click on tables in Object Designer and then select e.g. table Payment and Currency. (Highlight them )
4. In the Menu clic on Tools -> Language Module -> Export
5. A new small window will appear.
6. In the Filename select any folder and give it any name you like. (if you want to keep the captions then make sure you keep this file)
7. In the field Language select the language for which you want to delete the captions e.g. DK.
8. In the field "Delete Language" you click yes.
9. Click on the Ok bytton and after that again on OK button.
10. open the tables Payment and Currency and check that the captions were removed.
11. Export the objects as TXT and have a happy merging
I hope this helps.1
