problem installing NAV2016

in NAV Three Tier
When I try to install NAV2016 on a Windows 7 Pro 32bits computer, i get the message: "Microsoft Dynamics NAV cannot be installed on this operating system".
In Dutch: "Microsoft Dynamics NAV kan niet worden geïnstalleerd in dit besturingsssyteem."
Installing this on exactly the same sort of computer gives no problem.
Tried different Compat modes, install as admin, installed Dot\Net 4.5.2 etcetera, plse help

    Thanx AceX, that worked, i first had to install:
    "Prerequisite Components\Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools For Office Redist"

    NAV 2016 is a 64 bit application only, even for the client.

    Microsoft has this as their list of supported clients for the RTC:

    - Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education (32-bit and 64-bit editions).
    - Windows 8.1 Professional or Enterprise (32-bit and 64-bit editions).
    - Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard or Essentials (64-bit edition).
    - Windows Server 2012 Standard or Essentials (64-bit edition).

    I installed it succesfully on other Windows 7 Pro computers.

    I haven't installed NAV on any x32 OS since NAV2013, I just make sure my OS is x64. I do remember trying it on the last laptop that had a x32 OS and it failed, as expected. This error message is totally expected on a x32 system, it's not supposed to work. You must be a magician to get it to work :)
