NAV is running slower on windows 10 than on windows 7

in NAV/Navision Classic Client
We are using NAV 2009R2 Classic Client and decided to upgrade to windows 10 Professional. Our users have noticed that NAV is running slower than on windows 10. Every other program runs great except for NAV. Any ideas why this would be or how to resolve this issue? We have tried disabling onedrive and using the performance enhancing option in the settings but NAV is still being slow.

    do you use windows client (rtc) on windows 10 clients or do you work with classic client and forms?
    did you try to use compatibilty mode?
    do you have the same performance when working with cronus database ?

    We use classic client and forms on windows 10. How do you run NAV in compatibility mode?

    I am also running classic 2009R2 on W10 with also the SQL DB (SQL2016 which is not yet confirmed yet by Microsoft as being compatible!) and an SSD and it is lightening fast confronted with my previous PC (W8.1,SQL2012,No SSD). So I don't think it is a W10 issue. I think that it is more a network problem.
