Installation of NAV 2016

Hi All,

I wanted to know if I can install Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2016(Version: 9.00.45778) on a PC where Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2013 R2 (version: 7.10.35473) is already installed(Operating System Used: Windows Server 2012)?
I got an error message while running any "Form","Pages", and “Report" from Nav 2013 R2 Development environment screen?
Please advice.

    Installing 2016 and 2013 R2 side by side shouldn't be an issue. Have you installed the client for 2016?

    You need to change the registry.
    Please search.
    Now registry is having NAV2016 client so it will try to run pages,reports etc in NAV2016.

    It seems that you might be trying to connect with your NAV 2016 client to your NAV 2013 R2 Server Instance. Did you change the port specifications on your NAV 2016 Server Instance to 9075, 9076, 9077, 9078. If not then you have a conflict between your NAV 2013 R2 Server instance and NAV 2016, which block NAV 2016 from starting.

    If you have changed the ports on your NAV 2016 Server Instance, then your ClientUserSettings.config file is pointing to the wrong Server Instance
