count the record

Dear All,

i have this case

table A have a record like this

no name ID
1. ABC 1
2. BCD 1
3. ABC 1

table B have a record like this
name ID
ABC 1
BCD 1
ABC 1

I need to get the value of "no" from table A. let's says that it is actually already in sequence and i just need to get the "count" value for each of the record.

can i get that

Hey Youhana,

What do you mean by count value?

Count value means total count of the TABLE A?

Whats the need of TABLE B here?

what i mean that i need a sequence number to be shown on table B based on the information on table A

why do you want table B with same data in table A?

the table A will be the information key in by other user that will be used by other user on another page

if you just need same data in both tables then you need to restart your table B design again and fill with data till now by using copy paste or rapidstart or report/codeunit.
for future, just sync both tables while inserting data in table A
