Export Excel in Analysis by Dimension

in NAV Three Tier
Hello,

In Financial Management/Reports and Analysis/Analysis by Dimension on Show Matrix I have the Action Export To Excel.
When I click on this Action I get this error message :

Is there a dll missing ?
Or do I need to install Excel on the server ?

    Hi,

    The First thing that comes to my mind is -

    1. Are you using a Trail version of Microsoft Excel or a Purchased Copy?

    2. Check for File "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll",

    Location To Check - C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\90\RoleTailored Client

    Where 90 will vary, as per your nav version.

    Dll is present in the folder - I'm on NAV2016
    Excel is not installed on the server, but on my PC - of course its a purchased version

    Office needs to be installed with the feature ".NET Programmability Support" found under the Setup > Excel and Word entries. See https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/kh3965hw.aspx. Somehow the Interop files under the client folder are not found properly.

    Setup was set to take in account net programmability
