1099 Magnetic Media

I am wondering if there are any updated reports or other objects for 1099 reporting in NAV since 5.1 for the 5.X platform (U.S. of course)?
The IRS changed to where it no longer accepts magnetic media, but it looks like the magnetic media report in NAV can be output and then saved as .txt to meet the demand from the IRS for submitting electronically.
However it seems the magentic media report does not output section K (State Totals) required by the IRS to be in the file.
Has anyone used the magnetic media output file to submit electronically 1099's to the IRS via the IRS F.I.R.E site? If so where there any modifications required to be done, or could you simply output the file and submit it?
Any input on this would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
