Error Message while posting an invoice

When I try to post an order into an invoice I get the following error message -

"Cannot be completed because it will cause inconsistencies in the G/L entry table. Check where and how the Consistent function is used in the transaction to find the reason for the error."

I have no clue how to fix this - any ideas?? Thanks

does one of the items on the invoice have a price whos decimal goes out 3 or 4 places?

I did have a decimal extended out to 4 places - I changed this and it will still not post because the tax is calculated out to 3 places and I can't manually change it. Any suggestions? THanks

did you try the workaround as described in the link (last post)

I was able to change the tax and I did everything in the workaround and it still does not post. I am clueless. I have a call into our help desk but they have not gotten back to me yet.

Hmm.

Is this the first time this problem has appeared?
Is this order different from your other orders? (taxed,etc)

I wonder if the workaround is for orders AFTER the changes are made and do not correct and order that has already been created.

when you F9 to get the order stats do you see where it's not rounding correctly?
