1. Create a role with the permissions to use object designer:
Object Type = System
Object ID = 5210 (Extras, Object Designer)
Read Permission / Insert Permission / Modify Permission / Delete Permission / Execute Permission = Yes
... users can open the object designer and watch the objects.
2. If the Users should also be enabled to open an object in design mode - but not to save any changes add the follwing permissions:
For Tables:
Object Type = Table
Object ID = 0
Read Permission / Insert Permission / Modify Permission / Delete Permission / Execute Permission = Yes
Object Type = System
Object ID = 9010 (Design, Table, Basic)
Read Permission / Insert Permission / Modify Permission / Delete Permission / Execute Permission = Yes
For Forms:
Object Type = Form
Object ID = 0
Read Permission / Insert Permission / Modify Permission / Delete Permission / Execute Permission = Yes
Object Type = System
Object ID = 9020 (Design, Form, Basic)
Read Permission / Insert Permission / Modify Permission / Delete Permission / Execute Permission = Yes
... and so on for other object types if needed.0 -
many thanks for your reply, it works!0
