Can't Open RTC client

Hi Nav experts,

Can I ask if anyone encountered this kind of error while opening the RTC? If so please help ](*,)

Error message:

Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Function ID 8 was called. The object with ID 79 does not have a member with that ID.

Hi,

The Function ID 8 is for Function GetSystemIndicator in Table Company Information. During Login this function is called from Codeunit 1.

I would suggest to compile all objects and once compiled Restart the NAV Service and try Again.

or if you have done any merge and upgrade then please check whether that function is existing or not.

Hi Saurav,

I checked the GetSystemIndicator in Company Information but that function is nowhere to be found. but then I tried to compile the objects and restart the Nav Server services and it worked!

Yes you're right we've done a merging of objects. Object NAV 5.1 upto NAV 2009R2.
