NAV2015 Metadata table not found

I'm currently upgrading a database to NAV2015. During the conversion run (Stage2) I'm getting an error: 'The metadata object Table xxxxxx was not found. I looked at the table objects but the table doesn't exist. Then I exported out all objects in a text file and did a search for the table ID, but couldn't find anything either.
Does anyone have any ideas why this error message is showing up?

have you checked the Object Metadata table itself? If is there a record for this table just delete it.
If no record in this table just search for the table id in the text version of the objects, this can be a LookupPageId or a TableRelation, CalcFormula etc

Yeah, I did all of that. But no table record found in the Object Metadata table or any references in the text file.
What I did was importing the referring table in NAV2015 (from NAV4.0 to NAV2013, from NAV2013 to NAV2015). That solved the problem. For now I'm fine.
But if anyone knows what might have triggered this problem, let me know. I'm curious.
