Hi,
Anyone here with experience upgrading 2009 to 2015? I'm interested to know a rough estimate on how many hours it takes to upgrade a database with 2 small companies (no customization).
Thanks!

I recently did an upgrade of a ~6gig database with 2 companies from 5.0 to 2015. We stripped out the few modifications they had, so it was pretty close to "no mods".
The actual time required for the upgrade was only about 8 hours. Kicked it off at 5pm on Friday, converted to 2009, 2013 and then the first step of the 2015 conversion by about 11pm I think. Finished the rest of in it about an hour or two Saturday morning.
The whole project was a couple of weeks of man-days though, we still merged some mods in, did some data migration from customizations to new functionality, did a test run and provided some training. They did their own report development though.
Hope that helps!0 -
Thank you Mark!0
