Why M.Excel automatically merge cell when save file.

Hi,

My customer raises one issue about the report which she saves to M.Excel from PrintPreview page. When They opens it, some columns has been merged to one column and this is not what customer has expected. She wants one column excel per one column of data, doesn't want merged cell.

It's quite hard to explain. So, please see below pic.

I didn't merge any column in Visual Studio.
NAV 2009R2.

    this can happen if there is a report header/ footer.

    to avoid this kind of issue, remove header & footer of the report. (if customer going for excel means, customer do not need the header)
