Dear All,
I am using NAV 2013 R2. There are almost 500,000 + items in the Item table. While I am using the Filter option, it takes almost 10+ seconds.
Is there any way to expedite the Filter process?

This can have different reasons.
Setting a filter on a flowfield can be very,very slow. In that case you may need to redesign the page.
Another option, if you use this filter all the time, you can create a view as explained here:

If the issues is on a normal field e.g. Item No, then you may need to optimize your SQL server and database for better performance.
