Search Description functionality does not work in RTC

Hello All,
I would like to ask you, if the original functionality with "Search Description" field does not work any more in new RTC Client or if I miss something...

In Standard client, if I entered in any Document Line (Sales Line, Journals etc) in Item No. field value I had in Search Description field from, system populated directly that related Item No. In RTC it is not possible any more.

Of course I have the AltSearchField set correctly.

    You're missing nothing. It does not work in RTC.
    You can select Description as default search column. It practicly does the same.

    Luc van Vugt has blogged about it. http://dynamicsuser.net/blogs/vanvugt/a ... field.aspx I am also more in favor of this feature, I would like it to work as before. The new thing can also work, why not. But only when differently specced by the user than AltSearchField.

    Thank you both for confirmation my doubts. Unfortunately I can not use Description since the Search Description field was planned to be different and used for other functionalities.
