Navision Application Server - Automation Data Type

CtrlShiftF11CtrlShiftF11 Member Posts: 29
I am developing routines to import delimited text file data into Navision on a timed basis. I have a recently been able to get the Navision Application Server up and running. My problem is that I need to define an Automation variable to set a timer and Automation is not a choice that I can select from when defining the Data Types of Global Variables.

I am licensed for C/FRONT, Application Builder and ADCS. Do I also need to be licensed for an Automation or OCX granule as well?

Any help is appreciated, the contents of my license file are as follows...

    Steve,
Thanks for your help, I'll call our Solution Center and get our license updated. I think that the only alternative would have been to put the codeunit into an endless loop! :-k

Which is really kind of what a service is! :D
