256 GB database limit

Hi,
I was browsing the msdn documentation on nav 2015 when i noticed the following.
Maximum number of physical disk files
16
Database file size
256 GB
some questions :
- is this limit enforced, since sql server has much higher limits
Files per database
32,767
File size (data)
16 terabytes
- in the case of nav should we multiply 256 X 16 = 4TB to get the maximum database size??

Those were the limits of the old native (not SQL) database. Which does not exist in NAV 2015. So I'm not sure why that information is even there.There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0
