security risk

Hi experts
What's the purpose of this message? What's the risk I am taking (i.e. what consequences arise)?. Why does specifying my middle tier on a command line impose a risk while specifying it by way of a user configurable setup file does not?You are about to connect to 'DynamicsNav71' on server 'nav.company.local', which is not your current default connection setting.
This can create a security risk.

Fair question.
I think there is no risk. And therefore the message has got no purpose.
Couldn't find anything from Microsoft where it's explained there is a risk.
Just this post which contains the warning; http://www.mibuso.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=39876&start=0
