NAV 2013 R2: Consumption of Item in Jobs

Dear All,

I want to know how to mark the consumption of Items in Jobs. (I mean if I use an Item in the Jobs, how the adjustment in the Inventory will be recorded?) Is it automatic upon any action or do I need to manually record a negative adjustment?

    You need to use Job Journals for item consumption posting. You need to fill Job No and Job Task No. and item, as well.
    The exception is when you buying items for specific project. In this case, you can post consumption using purchase order. When you fill Job No. in order line, when you post this documents, items will be posted in the same time as purchase and consumption.
