Running objects from Dev. Client opens multiple RTC Clients

I'm running NAV2013R2 (NAV71) and whenever I run an object from the development client it opens a whole new RTC client as well as the object I'm starting. This happens even if I already ran an object and thus have an RTC client open.
I'm working in a development environment where the DB is on an external machine, but the service instance I am connecting to with RTC is running on my local machine.
Has anybody had this problem and fixed it?
I do also have NAV70 and some older Classic clients installed on my machine. Don't know if this part of the problem.

In that case you need this hotfix:I do also have NAV70 […] installed on my machine

A fix for a similar issue is also mentioned there:MSDN wrote:If you have only Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 installed and any object run from dev env opens new RTC instance, then you can apply the same registry modify (related to 7.1) and issue will be resolved.Kai Kowalewski0 -
