- Install that Web Developer Tools stuff for Visual Studio this gets you the following things:
- can "Build Website" which tests for errors
- Can go to View, Open With and open report in XML editor. This is very useful for 1) finding and extending Code.SetData 2) copy-pasting textboxes, because some bug does not let you copy-paste a textbox in VS 2012 if it has Code.GetData in it
Please similar tips here.

@Denster, no, not a whole lot, I am not trying to organize a Q & A, but more of a general tips section. I just post all the non-obvious stuff I find as I learn, the solutions I find for my problems, it and encourage others to do the same. The questions on the site tend to relate to the more... quirkier behavior of the designer.0

In Visual Studio 2012 exists possibility to copy – paste textboxes in layout, but with some limitations:
• Textbox should not contain special expression, allow copy – paste only texboxes which contains simple expression as value from DataSet.
• Allows only on time to copy – paste same textbox.
