2009 R2 RTC Drop Down Search not Searching...

We have a server running several NAV R2 databases in RTC. This problem is occuring in all databases on this server. I have not seen it in other servers.
When you are selecting a record from the drop down search list (customer for a sales order, vendor for a purchase, item on a sales or purchase line, entry for "My Customers", etc), the search only works on the first highlighted column. If you move the highlight to filter on a different column no results are returned.
Example: Start a sales order and in the Customer No field enter "The". The search box would come up with the default on the No. field and of course there woudl be no results. But, typcially, if you move the filter to be on the Name column the results should refresh and show "The Cannon Group" and "The Device Shop". This works perfectly on other NAV installs but on this one server it does not. The only way to get the results to show is to bring up the list with F4 (so all records are there) and then move the filter and type "The"
Does anyone know why this is not working properly? I'm wondering if there is some setting on the SQL that effects the searching since it happens on several databases on one server.
Thanks!
Sara

Try to use sql profiler to look at what is happening on the SQL. It can give you some clues...0

Hey Sara, did you ever find out what the problem was or at least how to solve it? I'm having the exact same issue, been searching for a while but this seems to be the only place it's mentioned.0

rondaij,
I'm sorry to say I don't remember what fixed it! I believe we installed a newer version of the exe/dlls and that resolved it. Sorry!0 -
No worries, thanks for the quick reply. I'm running build 32843, will try updating to a later version, I'll see if that helps. Thanks again for your help!0
