Hi All,

I am working for a client who needs a complete upgrade of hardware and software. We plan to upgrade to Nav 2013 R2 and SQL Server 2014.

We are currently debating on whether to implement Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition.

Considering that Enterprise Edition is very costly than standard edition, I need to justify their costs, so, I need to know which version is recommended in this case.

Looking for valuable inputs from all of you.
Thanks in advance.

If you find something, what is only in Ent and you really need it for the case... But in most cases Standard is enough.

I haven't seen yet a confirmation from Microsoft that NAV 2013 R2 is compatible with SQL 2014. Until that comes, I would wait to use SQL 2014 for a customer or development. I would only use it out of curiosity with NAV.
