What triggers the production order creation date to change? I noticed that after changing the status to "finished" the said date changed to the current date. How can we retain the original creation date to?
Thank you.
Thank you.

See table 5405, OnInsert Trigger. Codeunit 5407 is creating new header in Function TransProdOrder. You can try to add line for transferring old value to the new record in the block>
ToProdOrder.INSERT(TRUE); ToProdOrder."Starting Time" := "Starting Time"; ToProdOrder."Starting Date" := "Starting Date"; ToProdOrder."Ending Time" := "Ending Time"; ToProdOrder."Ending Date" := "Ending Date"; ToProdOrder."Due Date" := "Due Date"; ToProdOrder."Shortcut Dimension 1 Code" := "Shortcut Dimension 1 Code"; ToProdOrder."Shortcut Dimension 2 Code" := "Shortcut Dimension 2 Code"; ToProdOrder."Dimension Set ID" := "Dimension Set ID"; ToProdOrder.MODIFY;
(taken from NAV 2013, but should be +- same in older versions).0
