Hi,
Just wondering, does it work like this or how can I achieve this
if a nav users does not have permission to read a particular table
he should not be able to read that sql table from outside as well
We have excel connectivity which read sql directly and users can read all the tables.
even they do not have permission into Navision.
Any advise please?
Thanks
Ajay

This depends a lot on the version of NAV you use.0

An improper user setup in SQL can also achieve these sort or results. If the users had been added to certain SQL DB or Server roles, you could see results like this. There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0
