I've a client having Nav 2009 R2 Version W1 4.0 SP1 (6.0.32012) and I've downloaded the Nav 2009 R2 from Microsoft which have the following version:
Nav 2009 R2 Version W1 6.0 R2 (6.0.32012)
So what the difference between the two versions and how to upgrade the Version W1 4.0 to Version W1 6.0

Client database must be client upgraded means opened with NAV2009R2 client.
you need to also upgrade application code by comparing and merging.
please look in to Upgrade pdf to know how to do full upgrade.0 -
thanks mohana for the feedback.
there are no customisation done on the version W1 4.0 except the sales/purchase invoices.
Hence, should the code upgrade must be done for upgrading to W1 6.0
In fact, we want to upgrade to 2013 R2 but when using the upgrade tool upgrade601700.fob, we are having errors0 -
If they are small then you can also do manually on standard NAV2009R2 Database. It seems you just have to do Data upgrade except those small changes.
What are the error?0 -
