Report for turning location to Bin Mandatory

Hi
I have a customer that wants to turn their main location into "Bin Mandatory"
I have to turn the qty from the ILE (Item Ledger Entry) to qty on "Warehouse entry" using the "Shelf/Bin" code from the "Item Card"
It is an easy task to make a report that runs on the item table, and the create the record in the "Bin" table, and in then "Bin Content" table to link the Item and the Bin and set the Standard flag. (that report is done)
Does anyone have a report for this.
I do not want to empty all open ILE.
Can anyone help
Kind regards
Henrik

Why not just create a new location with the desired WMS setup, and then transfer the inventory and abandon the old location? There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0

Og i create a new location, then the entire posting setup is wrong and needs to be fixed.
All open dokuments will be wrong because of the location code.
So it would be better to empty the ILE for the location set the "bin mandatory" field and the adjust the warehouse qty for the right bins.

Then create a new location again. Only this time do the setup correctly. Then remove both old locations when no longer needed. For the open documents, just retain the existing locations until they can be processed and their inventory moved to the new location. Or delete and recreate in the new location. There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0

If no one has created a report to do this then I will have to build it my self.
This is a common issue when going from not using bins to using bins.0 -

And the common solution is to create a new location. Therefore no report needed. Which could be why there was not one readily available. Not every problem needs a modification. Step back and think about the system. There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0 -
Take a look at the following 2 reports in standard NAV:
5756 - Create Warehouse Location
5757 - Check on Negative Inventory
I think this is what you need?Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
